Well it's almost school over here. Fuck.
Summer wasn't really a break for me.. orz at all. We had a lot of guests coming over, and my sibs came home, and aunts, uncles, etc. It was all very tiring.

And woooohooo look at that... school. yay.
Well it's not going to be so bad. XD At least I'll be able to do something other than locking myself up in my room reading yaoi mangas. Gotta keep things fresh, make the yaoi filled gears in my mind finally turn--have something meaningful to think about. This year's going to be different, I'm aware of that now.

But I'm not saying I'm not open for the change.
Hopefully I'll make a lot of friends this year.

I want to break out of my shell and be a class officer or something. That's pretty high hopes for someone shy and conservative like me but this year... I want to change that aspect of myself. I realized what I truly want is to not be shy anymore. I'm going to be more than determined to make that a reality. For now, little steps, and maybe when I'm ready, I'll be leaping forward, maybe even farther than I've even dreamed of.
Well I've got other stuff I want to accomplish this school year, my final year in highschool.

But there's a lot. Some even ridiculous, unattainable, maybe.
But it can't hurt to try.

In other newwwwsssss. I've started reading Battle Angel Alita and it is a masterpiece.
Long has passed since I've read something remotely wonderful as this manga. It's gorgeous.
I can ramble on forever, praising this manga but READ IT YOURSELF. It's one of the most underestimated mangas of all time.
And I can't believe that!

After reading it, I completely lost interest in shoujo, romance, and all those other stories. What I love most about it is how it's painfully cruel, twisted, dark, but also emotionally charged and moving--especially because it's truthful. The setting may be in the post-apocalyptic age, but the themes that this manga conveys are timeless.
I really recommend it for people who like cyborgs, cyberpunk, apocalyptic themes, space, gore, heroes, and kickass groundbreaking storylines.
ok why do i suddenly sound like im advertising this manga.
but im dead serious when i say that it's great. It's revolutionary, and better yet, it's being produced as a movie next year!

I've also been reading yaois.......... orz a thousand smutty oneshots and few titles. Adekan volume 3 has been released

! It's not a BL but it's very erotic ; u ; and has the most queer and fascinating plot I've ever seen. Volume 1 had lots of suggestive themes, volume 2 had even more, but holy mother fuck, volume 3 was on fire. I was literally burning alive while reading it ksdfhbafblaklabn INTENSE. It also grew EXCPETIONALLY darker and all the more beautiful and mysterious.
Nao Tsukiji is not only a masterful artist, but also a poet (not in a literal sense but the way she tells her stories are so.. different. But it's apparently very very VERY good if you know how to pay attention to the beautiful elusive details she places in each story she writes).
I've also been reading Crimson Spell (another [tastefully] erotic BL manga). I really like Crimson Spell. ;--; It's set in a fantasy landscape with wizards and princesses etc. And the prince of some land has a curse. Each night he turns into a beast and ravages the kingdom, but the next day, always awakens without any memory of his deeds. So Valdrigue (the prince) goes to this warlock named Halvir in hopes to cure the curse but it runs deeper than he's ever thought it would. The story shoots up from there.
What I adore most about Crimson spell is it's execution. Flawless. <3 The pacing was intriguing and the BL scenes were passionate.

Very passionate...... /// heheeheheheh
If there was some kind of "most sexy uke" award, I'd give it to Beast!Valdrigue (his demon self). Ugh.../// I can't explain cuz if I did i'd spoil it <3 slfhbnlksdnkldnfkla
JUST READ. ;A; IT'S PUBLISHED IN A MAGAZINE AND UPDATES COME OFTEN SO YES. YES.
seriously crimson spell is a very good BL, not just with the sexual stuff but all the other elements mesh so well oh god.
Hmm... another BL.. Yuutsu no Asa. I read it since Hidaka shoko was nominated the #1 BL author and Yuutsu no Asa was her most acclaimed work. I don't fancy politics, and the viscount-butler economy thing made me really confused at first but after reading it and giving it a lot of patience, I saw its beauty. It's a very good read if you like seeing how the plot unfolds one after the other, gradually, but steadily. It's NOT the normal Butler x Master yaoi, it tells a very sad and truthful tale about prejudice, duty, love, and honor.
I have a lot of respect for Hidaka shoko. She's an excellent writer.

Ok my last BL.... Hito ni Adegara UNSPEAKABLE RELATIONSHIP! this one isn't like the 3 mentioned above. Doesn't really have a deep plot but it's funny XD It's a manga complied of oneshots but the 1st story is the longest. AND it's really funny (and sexy) XD it had an incest story somewhere and i honestly got a little uncomfortable orz orz.
Doesn't have the best art but if you need something to laugh about, I guess you should read it XD
